3rd Annual They Shall Walk or Roll-a-thon - Oct 31

They Shall Walk is an organization striving to make walking a reality for people who are unable due to injury or illness.  They are developing a robotic suit to provide walking assistance.  The Walk and Roll-a-thon is an annual fundraiser to generate resources to continue development.  This event is not a race.  It is more of a social roll to come out and support some really exciting research.  There will be people there using all forms of wheeled transportation.  Several Team Lightning members attended last year and had a great time.  There is no entry fee, but donations are encouraged.
Come out, bring a costume, and have a nice fall morning roll.  Did I mention the robotic suit?
Meet in the Shoreline Sears parking lot at 9am.  The walk/roll will be on the new section of the Interurban Trail heading north.  It is only a couple of miles, but skaters are welcome to do as many laps as they want.  There will be a demonstration of the robotic suit during the walk.
