Hurricane Katrina Gulf Disaster Relief

As many of you may already know, SkateNW.com was born in New Orleans.  Much of the code was written at coffee shops on the corners of Nashville & Magazine and Carrollton & St. Charles.  Ideas were conceived while I skated at Audubon Park, on the Mississippi River Levy, and along the shore of Lake Pontchartrain.  When the site was first launched, I was sitting in my apartment, just off Canal St. in Mid City.  Many people in New Orleans and Baton Rouge have donated their time and services to make this site possible.  If you can spare some change to give back to the community that supported and still hosts our website, please do so.  The links below will take you to reputable charities that will put your donation to work.

The American Red Cross provides immediate relief of disaster-caused needs.

The Bush-Clinton Katrina fund provides long-term relief via the affected state governments.
Noah's Wish provides services to keep animals alive during disasters.
