24-Hour Inline Montreal - Team Relay

Date: tba
Type: Race

Roller-Montreal is proud and excited to invite you to join us for an
unforgettable weekend of skating fun, the 3rd edition of 24hrs Inline
Montreal, which will take place on July 15-16, 2006 on Montreal's
Gilles-Villeneuve Formula 1 racetrack.

This non-profit sports event will bring together over 600 inline skating
enthusiasts.  Some of the top speedskaters in the world will be present, but
by far the majority of skaters will be in the recreational and fitness
categories.  Everyone will be skating for personal achievement and the sheer
enjoyment of being there during a truly unique event.

Skating in relay teams of up to 10 skaters, your team goal will be to
complete as many laps as you can within 24 hours.  (The track is 4.3 km
around, or 2.7 miles.)  How often and in what order you skate is entirely up
to you and your teammates.  For the most fun and the most laps, skate a lap
at a time, then hand off to a teammate. Every team will have a designated
indoor or outdoor space near the F1 paddocks at trackside where you can
rest, eat, sleep, get ready, or socialize with any of the hundreds of
friendly skaters from other teams and other cities.

Along with the fun and healthy competition, there will be free tryouts of
the latest offerings from major skate manufacturers, exciting displays of
trick skating, lessons available for newer skaters, and a wonderful party
atmosphere with music, DJ and dancing - all the ingredients for the coolest,
craziest sports event of the year!  Awards and prizes will follow the race,
plus access to the nearby beach of Parc Jean-Drapeau.  Don't wait for spring
- especially not for summer!  Start talking now to your skating friends, get
your team together early.

Sign up before April 1, 2006 on  <http://www.24roller.com/> www.24inline.com
and take advantage of early-bird registration fees.

We look forward to skating with you in 2006!
